Lobo’s Red Star (Strawberry)
Strawberry
is a 5 year old registered Quarter Pony. She was purchased by
her current owner and subsequently joined the Pierce Farms family
in September, 2007. Strawberry is a well trained jumper and jumps
2'6" with ease. Since coming to Pierce Farms, she has been
taught to also go western and is teaching our riders how to train
a horse in the basics of gymkhana. Strawberry's gentle and steady
disposition makes her a much loved horse in both the lesson and
camp programs. She has a whole lot to offer to her riders from
the beginner to advanced levels. Strawberry has a history of
winning in the show arena in English disciplines and is now bringing
in the ribbons at our Western events as well.
Minnie Me (Mimi)
Mimi joined Pierce Farms in June, 2008. She was purchased for the lesson and camp program with our young riders in mind. Mimi is a barn favorite with her steady temperament and kind disposition. Mimi is a paint pony who is always ready and willing to teach our young riders how to become confident and comfortable whether riding English or Western in the arena or on the trail. She is also no stranger to the show ring having shown and won several blue ribbons in English Pleasure and most recently, Gymkhana events.
Twinkle’s Fanci (Twinkle)
Twinkle
came to Pierce Farms in July, 2008. She has become a favorite
in our summer camps and our lesson program with our tiny riders.
She is also Marley's favorite armrest! She has proven to be a
sweet and kind mare that will take care of her young riders.
Twinkle has a whole lot of energy and provides a quick and exciting
ride for many of our young equestrians in either English or Western
disciplines. According to the animal communicator, she
especially likes to have the song "Twinkle, Twinkle, Fanci Star" sung
to her! Twinkle has also won the blues in the jumping arena
and though we do not jump her anymore, she is bringing in the
ribbons in the gymkhana shows!
